Dr. Tom Greenwood leads the team at Lean Works and coordinates a network of consultants who have extensive experience in training and implementing lean and six sigma concepts.

Since 1985, Greenwood has been a proponent of lean as an academic, as a consultant, and in a variety of managerial positions. Greenwood's industrial experience has ranged from materials to sales and to a number of manufacturing positions, including Director of Global Manufacturing Systems for United Technologies-Carrier. He founded the Lean Enterprise Forum at the University of Tennessee in 1991 and is currently the Executive in Residence of the Greenwood Lean Enterprise Center.

Since 1985, Greenwood has created numerous courses on Lean concepts that have been taught to over 10,000 managers, and implemented in 28 countries worldwide. Over 150 business units from Fortune 500 companies have transformed their businesses using Lean Work’s Enterprise Implementation System Methodology.
